Hello everyone! This past week I've been researching on making your own beauty products at home. One of the first things that came to mind was toothpaste. I've seen many other zero waste bloggers attempt this so I thought I would give it a try. I've tried a store bought toothpaste that claimed to be zero waste. I loved that they were a Canadian company selling toothpaste in glass jars with multiple flavors to choose from. However, it did not make my fresh breath last long. I wanted to find my own alternative that worked. When you buy toothpaste from a well-known brand they most likely contain some ingredients that you do not know how to pronounce! Along side that many store bought toothpastes contain micro beads, which is a plastic that has broken down into a fine particle.
